Eyvind Earle (1916-2000) is an artist who began his prolific career early in life. By the age of twenty-one he came into his own unique style. He worked as an animator for Disney Studios in the 1950's. In 1966 he returned to painings full-time and kept working until the end of his life. Eyvind has an original perception of the landscape. He synthesizes seemingly incongruent aspects into a distinctive style: a style which is mysterious, primitive, graphic, moody and nostolgic. In addition to oils, Earle also created a large number of limited edition serigraphs.
