Maya Eventov is a Russian-born and trained painter currently living in Canada. Eventov's paintings are characterized by a thick application of acrylic paint using a selection of various sized palette knives. Eventov creates Mediterranean themed landscapes that are imaginary and idealized. She also creates works that are reminiscent of North American rural landscapes.The palette of Matisse and Gauguin affect her interpretation of color while Rodchenko and Malevich influence her sense of balance and composition.

Alexander Kanchik is a Russian-born painter who studied at the prestigious Samokish Crimean Academy of Art. In 2001 Kanchik immigrated to the United States. While traveling extensively in Europe he received his inspiration to paint what he refers to as Carnival Images of Surrealist Scenes. His work has been exhibited widely in America, Europe and Israel.
